Presets let you save and recall compressor configurations quickly. The Cloud Compressor comes with factory presets and also lets you create your own.
Factory Presets
Five factory presets are included as starting points:
- Broadcast Radio — aggressive multiband compression suited for FM-style radio broadcast, with tight control across all bands
- Podcast — gentle compression focused on voice clarity and consistent levels
- Music Stream — balanced compression that preserves dynamics while maintaining consistent output levels
- Heavy Compression — maximum loudness and density for competitive broadcast environments
- Flat — minimal processing, all thresholds at 0 dB with 1:1 ratios — essentially a bypass with metering
Loading a Preset
- Open the Presets panel in the centre column
- Click on the preset name to load it
- All compressor settings will update immediately
Loading a preset changes the compressor, EQ, and processing settings. It does not change your input/output stream configuration.
Saving Your Own Presets
- Adjust all the compressor settings to your liking
- Open the Presets panel
- Enter a name for your preset and click Save
Your custom presets are saved to your account and will appear alongside the factory presets.
Deleting Presets
You can delete your own custom presets. Factory presets cannot be deleted.
